Olive Oil Glycerine Melt and Pour Soap Base (20% kosher grade A extra virgin olive oil) Olive oil is known to create a soap that moisturizes the skin and has a great lather. This is a bit softer than the other melt and pour bases, but great all the same. You will notice an olive smell and it may darken over time. It will also will take longer to solidify.
Warning! If you have never tried Olive oil soap before you may be in for a surprise. Some people think that it has a strange unpleasing "alcohol" like smell. Some people say that it reminds them of 'old time soap smell' and love it. Please make sure to try small amounts first to make sure this is the right soap base for you.
