Why Natural Soap? Natural glycerin soap has great moisturizing properties. As a humectant, glycerin pulls the moisture from the air. This property is thought to moisturize skin throughout the day. When soap is made a small amount of glycerin is produced as oils and lye are mixed together. Many soap manufactures call this glycerin soap. We do not. We add 20% more glycerin to all of our soap. You will see and feel the difference.
About our Natural Melt and Pour Glycerine Soap Making Base
Wisteria Lane has offered our customers the best Melt and Pour soap base on the market for many years. Twenty-three Melt and Pour recipe bases container the properties listed below. The Extra Clear base is our only recipe to contain a mild surfactant.
Our soap base is easy to melt. You can use your microwave or your stovetop. Any microwavable bowl or pan will do. Because this is soap, clean up is easy! When your soap is melted you may add food color or commercial colorant. You may also add fragrance oil, especial oil or even herbs from your garden or cabinet. When you have the color and fragrance you want just pour the soap into a mold. When it solidifies it will pop right out.
Each Melt and Pour base is different and will be a wonderful addition to your personal handmade soap repertoire.
